Gorgeous snakeskin clutches: the only snake I'll ever hold

There have been too many times in my life where I've seen a fabulous, affordable clutch and talked myself right out of it--because when would I, a busy mom of four, use a clutch? Then I have a dinner date, a conference party, or a fun trip to Las Vegas and I find myself completely clutchless!

But thanks to CMP-fave Clava, you'll be more than prepared with an on-trend clutch that won't break your bank.

I cannot tell you how many times I've already used this gorgeous Eden foldover clutch in fabulous faux snake (100% vegan, mamas!), which is so hot right now. (Check out the Converse Year of the Snake shoes we found this week.)

The bag itself is super roomy but not overwhelming to carry, which makes it an ideal evening bag for those of us who need more than just a phone, ID, and lipstick. I'm partial to the orange (pictured) myself, but obviously you can get tons of use out of the black.

Now if you are looking for something smaller and more compact, I'd say snatch up a Jemma Ostrich Clutch, which could actually double as a wallet, with room for your phone and some cash, plus a handy inner pocket and credit card slots. I'm obsessed with navy this season, so that would be my first choice. Given the price, I'd grab one in a brighter color too, since they're so versatile.
