May the Force be with you. And may it put you to sleep at bedtime without a fight.

What happens when you combine some of our favorite, super soft kid pajamas and our favorite geeky movie franchise? Let's just say the Force is strong with these jimjams.

May the force be with your jimjams!

Clearly I'm excited to learn that one of our favorite play clothes brands, Hanna Andersson, now has new line of Star Wars sleepwear for kids for kids that are just as awesome as you would expect. That is, if you know about their super soft, 100% organic cotton without all those itchy stitches and appliqués.

These Star Wars pajamas fit the bill in both Long John and Short John versions, with durable, silky cotton Ribbknit in sizes that start at ten months and end at twelve years. Basically, comfy and rad.

Caped Vader Pajamas | Hanna Andersson
One word of warning: That last pair of awesome pair of PJs is called the Caped Vader Short Johns, but they're referring to Vader's cape, not some sort of even more awesome, attached cape. And that's why my son is sad. Sorry, kid. You can't have everything. But at least you're not trapped in a Rancor pit. -Delilah

Why - WHY - do they not make the Vader Stripe Long Johns for grown ups? I would wear the heck out of that one!

We are with you, Barbara!

I just wish companies would start to understand that girls are big fans of Star Wars too and boy are they missing out on a merchandising opportunity. Not one Leia, Ashoka or Padme pajama set. Want the cute factor go Ewoke? Want evil for girls? Ventress or more recently if they aren't dishing out red herings on CWs Barass (sp). It doesn't have to be pink but I sure would like some representation. (stepping off soapbox)

We agree Kristine! Completely. Our girls love Leia--and they love Luke too.
