Not in the mood for a nutmeg-scented house? Jonathan Adler's got your back.

I kind of love everything from Jonathan Adler. Especially the scents of his new candles, which are sure to make your home smell greenmarket-fresh, even if you're just cracking open canned...whatever.

 

Don't expect the traditional nutmeg, peppermint or mulled apple cider scents in the Jonathan Adler Pop candles. Instead, you'll find clean scents like tomato, watercress, earl grey, fig, and my own favorite, grapefruit.

Earl grey and fig might be a little more fitting as holiday scents for this time of year, although tomato and fig together give you that red/green holiday pop for a great hostess gift--without the expected fir and cinnamon scents.

Still, I have to say, there's something that sounds really refreshing about the smell of watercress. And I'm thinking it might subliminally convince me to eat less pie. -Liz
