Run 10 Feed 10: fitness meets charity
I'm a huge fan of FEED. If you're not familiar with this amazing company run by Lauren Bush, let me give you the CliffsNotes version: you buy a funky bag, shirt or more, and you are directly helping to feed a school child through partnerships with organizations like the UN World Food Programme, UNICEF, Room to Read, Donors Choose.

Different from other retail organizations that promise to give a portion of proceeds to charity, the FEED donation is built directly into the cost of the bag. A bag with the number ten stenciled on it will feed ten children--it's that simple.

And now FEED is combining my love of fitness with a new charitable project that I can't wait to take part in.

The Run 10 Feed 10 is taking place all over the country. For a $40 registration fee, you'll automatically feed ten children and have access to training teams in your city before your 10K race. Cooler still, you also have the opportunity to raise money with an individual or team fundraising page, which means even more children get fed.

The Los Angeles race is actually on my birthday. I can't think of a better way to get my friends together, raise money for a cause I feel passionate about, and sport a new FEED swag bag. Who's with me? -Eva
