The sippy cup. Ah, how I wish we were past this stage of life. For now I accept my fate that is the avalanche of cups and lids falling on my head every time I open the cabinet. My disdain however only makes me more appreciative of those times I find a sippy cup that is easy to manage and stands up to the elements- and by elements I mean aggressive toddler.
I normally don’t favor straw cups, due to the fact
that I always lose the straws and the functionality always
seems flawed. (I mean really, can any one reach the last bit of liquid at
the bottom of the cup with a fixed in place plastic straw? Didn’t
think so.) But the smart Bot cup has a pretty
cool feature to avoid this little pet peeve of mine- a weighted flexible
silicone straw base that allows the drinker to slurp down every single
last drop.
cups, say what? Trust me, even my handyman husband said it’s “pretty
clever.”
Add in the handles and dome top and you’ve got yourself a
useful tool for the trade for the hot excursions ahead. Stay thirsty, my
friends. –Stephanie M
the Lolla cup us better! I have both and I think the design of the straw and handles on the Lolla cup are better, but I do like that the straw on the Zo li cup is closed at the top
I’ve not heard of this brand. At the daycare, I’m trying to see if we can get sippy cups for the toddlers. I don’t care for the straw either.
The Zo li cup is the only cup that gives my daughter all the liquid in the cup. The straw is just amazing – she is 2, so she flip flops the cup all over the house and enjoys every drop!
I’ve used both as well but I still prefer the Zoli cup. I’ve noticed that the weighted straw makes it much easier for my child to finish all the juice in her cup because it actually follows the liquid.
We love the ZoLi Bot. It’s the only sippy cup my daughter would use and she’s a VERY particular little girl! I know speech and physical therapists that recommend the BOT for special needs children. I think it’s a must have for any babe transitioning from bottle to sippy (which face it, we all know is no easy task)!
We have used ZoLi products for years, they make some of my favorite products. I have tried so many sippy cups with my 3 kids and the Zoli BOT wins, hands down. The way the weighted flex straw is genius!
We love the ZoLi Bot. We have tried every sippy cup under the sun and finally we found the Bot (with some guidance from another mommy) one that he would try. He fell in love with it right away!!!! Now what to do with all the other cups that he just threw on the floor???
Love the Zoli Bot!! It’s the only cup my son will use. I always recommend it to moms who are looking for the ‘perfect sippy cup’ for their little ones. My son also loves the Gummy Sticks! Another genius Zoli product 🙂
Yay for ZoLi! This is a great cup that performs really well and is cute to boot. And don’t forget that it’s BPA and chemical free, like all of ZoLi’s products. My girls LOOOOVED it.
Great to learn about this cup – I’ll check it out. We’re dealing with lost sippy cup straws in our house too, and here’s a DIY fix we came up with: https://hintmama.com/2014/01/24/todays-hint-a-diy-fix-for-lost-or-broken-sippy-cup-straws/
