Though I love the convenience of sending ecards to those near and dear, there is still something special about getting an honest-to-goodness "real" card in the mailbox, especially on holidays like Mother's Day. Unfortunately, I'm never, ever going to be that person who remembers to get to the card store on time, so I sheepishly type a meaningful happy whatever into my Facebook browser and hope that counts. Shutterfly's brand new Treat.com custom greeting card site has more than 4,500 cards, each with loads of customization options, from photos and custom messages, or even changing the wording on the front cover. While I've created similar cards like this on Shutterfly or its sister site, Tiny Prints when I'm ordering dozens for the holidays, I love that I have all these options now for just a single card for one special person.
