In the mood for spring with Tea's new kids collection, and a $100 giveaway

If you looked in my kids' closet, you'd find more Tea clothes than pretty much anything else. (Besides my t-shirts that they steal and call "nightgowns.") Since the day I first got a Tea outfit for my baby shower, I fell in love with durable, stylish, very wearable kids clothes inspired by fabrics from around the world.

FOR GIRLS

I'm a huge fan of the Tea trapeze dresses for girls (also seen at top) and the new fabrics are super cute. Buy one in your kid's size or even one size up, and then as your daughter grows, it transitions to an adorable tunic to wear over leggings or jeans. It also makes a handy beach cover-up. Amazing investment for $30.

Girls' mermaid hoodie from Tea Collection

If you've got an Ariel-crazy daughter, she will flip over this water goddess sleeveless hoodie which you can tell her is just like a mermaid, only cooler.

Girls' botanical print sash dress from Tea Collection

This botanical print sash dress would be the one my girls ask to wear all the time, even when we're digging in the garden. It's adorable in baby sizes too. Another great option: This horizon stripe dress with bold stripes balanced by sweet flutter sleeves.

Girls' batik print jersey dress from Tea Collection

It's called a sporty dress but this pretty batik print can definitely be dressed up--or down, with a pair of bloomers or leggings for monkeybar duty. The print kind of makes me want to go to Bali right now. (I'd settle for Hawaii.)

Pima cotton sweater for girls from Tea Collection

A pima cotton tie sweater is a nice warm-weather staple for chilly nights and air conditioned restaurants. This would get great use over a tank and jeans, or a dressy dress. Maybe for Mother's Day brunch?

FOR BOYS

I loooove this dragon camp shirt for boys. The soft jersey keeps it comfy, but the structure means it can go from a birthday party to an afternoon at the playground. It pairs nicely with Tea's chambray or canvas shorts, but I'm partial to these plaid long shorts for boys (also seen at top).

There are some great tees for boys, but this Padang surf tee might be my favorite. It's a way of injecting a little bright color into a kid's wardrobe without throwing him into neon.

For baby boys, rompers are generally kind of boring. Not so with this waves batik romper. And the snap-up bottom will be mighty convenient in that diaper stage.

I didn't realize Tea is now carrying Superga sneakers. They're not cheap but they hold up amazingly, have great support, and are very very cute. And psst...they've got saltwater sandals too, some on sale. I'm a huge fan.

Tea's kids' pajamas hold up like no other brand that we've tried (my second kid is now getting the third year of use out of a pair I bought for her big sister). The prices are great, and how cute is this fishie print?

I know they aren't anything fancy but I LOOOOVED putting my son in the "Denim Look" pants. As a crawler, jeans and khakis can become really restrictive but these had that laid back look with a sweat pant feel so he could get around nice and easy! Now he's outgrown them but I would buy another pair even though he is walking!
