Protect free speech - say no to SOPA and PIPA
In solidarity with the many websites protesting the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA)--those sites we rely on every day for news, entertainment, information, and community--Cool Mom Picks will not be posting today.We are deeply concerned about these well-intended but wildly misguided acts, which will go to a Senate vote in the coming weeks. They would not only threaten free speech, but the Internet as we know it, including user-generated content sites like Etsy, Wikipedia, Vimeo, Twitter, eBay, LinkedIn and Flickr.

Please consider calling your Senators today and letting them know how you feel.
