12 fabulous calendars for 2012

Cool 2012 calendarsAm I the only one who feels like the new year snuck up on them?

I still haven't bought my 2012 calendar--despite the fact that CMP has already found this beautiful printable calendar and this fabulous calendar for kids. But wait, there's more!

There are so many beautiful calendars out there to be had, and now that it's January there are great sales to take advantage of.

Plus 2012 sounds like such a nice year already -- I think it deserves a pretty calendar in its honor, don't you? So here I present, 12 for '12. Some of them are even free. -- Roxanna

Silhouette 2012 calendar from Le Papier Studio

Love silhouettes? Le Papier Studio specializes in them, and their poster calendar is full of whimsical silhouettes to last you all year.

Letterpress 2012 calendar from pistachiopress

This tearaway letterpress calendar by pistachiopress is a pretty little addition to your bulletin board.

Home Sweet Home 2012 poster calendar by Michelle Smith

I love the graphic and the sentiment on this poster calendar by michellesmith. It's really a piece of art meant to be framed and displayed.

Fold-Your-Own Robot 2012 calendar

Got crafty kids that are crazy for robots? The Build-a-Robot 2012 Paper Craft calendar has your name all over it.

Kokeshi dolls mini printable calendar

Creative Mamma has a thing for Kokeshi dolls and is offering a free (yes free!) printable mini calendar. It's really too cute for words.

Recycled card stock 2012 calendar

I love the clean simplicity of this simple design on recycled kraft card stock by lettercdesign. The month is imprinted in crisp white and you have a bit of space to write down important appointments. What else do you need?

Modern Circles 2012 calendar by Calouette

The Calouette Modern Circles Calendar is a bit different, but I love the graphic circles -- they make for a pretty piece of abstract art. I like the idea of filling in important dates using either a color coded system or just with a #2 pencil, old school style.

Spiral bound letterpress calendar from Old School Stationers

Speaking of old school, Old School Stationers has a gorgeous spiral bound letterpress calendar for those of us that love the delicious feel of fine paper. Treat yourself to a new print every month. Find it here.

Birch veneer 2012 calendar

And now, for something a bit different, this calendar by Heather Lins Home (also shown at top) is printed on eco friendly birch veneer. Add some pretty typography and you have a beautiful gift for yourself.

2012 Year Planner

If you have big plans for 2012, the year planner by Crispin Finn will let you plan out the year in style. I love the industrial efficiency and their trademark red, white and blue inks. Who says practical isn't beautiful?

Tearaway 2012 calendar by maydaystudio

If you don't have a lot of room, this tearaway calendar by maydaystudio gives you a 1 inch square per day to record important dates.

The Last Calendar You Will Ever Need

And finally, we have The Last Calendar You Will Ever Need*. You may have heard that the world will end on December 12, 2012. Something about a Mayan calendar or something? Whether you take this prediction seriously or not, we think that a 355 day calendar ending in mid-December is a very clever thing indeed. Who gets any work done in the last 10 days of the year, anyway?

*Probably not.

I really like the "More Time Moms Family Organizer"
The squares are big enough to write all of our family activities and appointments.
