I’ve already blown my promise to make Christmas cookies, Valentine’s cookies and first day of school cookies this year, so I’m hoping to make amends this Halloween. Although at this point I’m on the hook to make it a doubly special experience,so I just may sweeten the experience with something like this vintage Halloween apron from CMP fave From the Beanpot.
The 40s-inspired fabrics from mom/designer Leigh Helberg are absolutely adorable – way brighter and more elegant in person than the photo on the site might indicate. And the styling is practical and smart. Something the kids could totally wear when they’re up to their elbows in cookie dough and orange sprinkles.
I wouldn’t hesitate to point my holiday shopping-happy inlaws towards this as a little gift for my girls. And away from the “baby’s first Halloween” bib. –Liz
