kicokidsI have a soft spot for Anthropologie; their clothes have a kind of romanticism that makes me want to run off to Paris and spend my days eating macaroons in little sidewalk cafes. But this fall, Anthro brings that same dreamy style to kids’ clothes!

I’m happy to discover that they’re partnering with kicokids one of our favorite indie kids’ labels, to create a capsule collection for girls, in sizes 2-6.

The pieces, designed by kicokids founder and creative director Tia Cibani, offer a nice mix of patterns and textures, all created with a sense of
whimsy. One standout piece in this collection is a printed silk/wool
full skirt with a bit of crinoline peeking out at the hem — what little
girl wouldn’t love that?

These are dress up clothes that girls can play
in, not just sit still in, which makes them perfect for the holidays —
and beyond.

The best part: it will certainly be more affordable than the original designer line, so more moms can get their hands on them.-Susan

The kicokids/Anthropology line will be available for Holiday 2011, launching in October. You can find it online at Anthropologie.com and in select stores.
