My first baby had a play yard. It was great for storing all kinds of new baby gifts, diapers, blankets. You get the idea. We didn't bring it out at all with my second child, giving it away soon after she was born. Then came number three. And I decided that a portable crib isn't such a bad idea, after all.
The Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Light is the easiest-to-put-together piece of baby gear I have ever seen. Ever. Let me put it to you this way: when my review sample arrived, I pulled it out of the box, lifted it out of the storage bag, looked for instructions, and didn't find them. I put the crib together in less than a minute, anyway. No kidding.

It's nice but is the most expensive option on the market - nearly triple what I paid for a standard Graco Pack n' Play.
