I've got a love/hate relationship with IKEA. I love it, because it's reliable, dependable, and honest. I know what I'm getting, and there are no surprises. I hate it at times, for all of the same reasons. IKEA furniture can be dreadfully boring. Sometimes a room calls for more punk than practical. What to do?Thankfully, MyKea offers a solution that rocks awesome. It's like Threadless meets Ikeahackers.
There is art for all ages including an entire kids' collection; or sort by artist, or by popular IKEA collections like Malm and Billy. Find More: Around the House, Art+Decor (Sounds Fancy), Getting crafty, Kids Furniture

It's actually Ikea Hackers... http://www.ikeahackers.net/
Googled it after the link didn't work. Cool site!
Thanks Liz! (And yes, it is)
MyKea is a great idea, but the prices are ridiculous. $10,000 for a custom part of a book shelf? Maybe if the artist created it just for you, but these are images everyone can choose from. What mom can afford that, or not do it herself with a pait brush and some stencil?
Shari, they use the European comma for a decimal mark. So what looks like $5900 is actually $59.00.
clicked on the link but cannot connect to the page. i googled it, but seems like their website is down. do you know if they are still in business?
