How to wear color when you're not inclined to wear color

My signature look is pretty consistent--jeans and a top that's either black, white or grey. But when it comes to the accessories department, I'm up for any bold, crazy colors you throw my way, which is a lot of what we're seeing for fall.

In my opinion, jewelry is really the place to make a statement. That's why I'm loving all the bright colored pendants on Urban Dencity.

I think her beautiful pendants are the real stunners. I love the Jade leather medallion necklace (pictured), an intricate medallion backed with a brilliant piece of leather in lime green, eggplant or pearl bronze. I say go for the lime green. What the heck.

Being the black-wearing New Yorker that I am, it's unlikely my closet will ever represent all the colors in the rainbow, but at least now I can say that I do "wear colors." -Melissa
