Isabella Oliver's fall collection makes pregnancy clothes actually covetable

There are very few things that would make me miss being pregnant. But the gorgeous fall collection from genius fashion designer Isabella Oliver actually has me wishing I could wear maternity clothes again.
I ogled the uber-chic maternity pieces from
Isabella Oliver
all through my last pregnancy, but never actually pulled the trigger.
The thing about maternity clothes is, since their lifespan is so short, I
felt guilty about shelling out money on anything
maternity-specific. But then I hit the point in my pregnancy where there
was nothing to cover my enormous bulge except for real pregnancy
clothes. And that was when I wished I had invested in some of her gorgeous
pieces. Especially when a dinner party or a business meeting came up.
Her
new fall 2011 collection has some truly beautiful pieces that would
appeal to even the most discerning fashion editor. My faves are the
Luxe Tie Sweater (pictured), an effortlessly cool, figure-flattering piece, the
Hooded Tunic, a comfy chic weekend essential and the
Everyday Pocket Tunic, a sharp staple that could easily transition into your postpartum wardrobe.
These
clothes look expensive--and they are. But these days, when you can
resell your maternity clothes on eBay or at a local consignment store, it's worth investing in a piece or two that make you feel fabulous. You're only pregnant once...or twice, or three times.
