Jeffrey Sebelia serves up rockin threads for our little dudes

Cool boys' clothes from La MiniaturaDressing our little dudes up is no easy task. While it may be fairly easy to go preppy and sport the oxford shirt and khaki pants route, sometimes social events beckon for more rock and roll than country club.

A new kids label from a Project Runway favorite has answered our call.

La Miniatura is the label of Jeffrey Sebelia, the designer with the rock band and the awesome neck tattoo who won Bravo's Project Runway Season Three. Jeffrey's also unforgettable for his style and wit, and now, his line of rad threads for boys, all throwbacks to the late 70's and early 80's with a modern interpretation.

There are plaids and velvets dripping with post punk sumptuousness. Personally, I am hooked on the blazers, and trench coats and sweaters...well, all of it, really. But if I had to pick a favorite, it would absolutely be the Merlot Velvet Jacket. I love the richness of the color, the smooth velvet and the black trim. It's so sweet, it hurts.

The clothes are well executed and crafted, which comes at a price. In other words, La Miniatura isn't ideal for everyday wear, but for a special occasion or two, it hits the spot. If the boys start asking for temporary tattoos on their necks, I may have to speak with management.-Eva

The entire La Miniatura catalog is available online at laminiaturakids.com and can be ordered via speciality boutiques listed here.

this line for kid's is awesome. Jeffrey was one of my favorite project runway contestants and I love that he's produced a line for children. Do you know where this line retails?? Thanks!

Love the plaid jacket, black sweater, striped owl shirt, and merlot and ocher pants!! If only I could get my son to wear them.... didn't see how to buy from the web site, only stores in locations I can't get to.

Love it! My little man would look so cute in this!!!

Can anyone find these available for sale online somewhere? I love the velvet jackets and the plaid pants.
