While I've never taken my husband to task for only buying three lemons instead of the dozen I requested ("Who asks for a dozen lemons anyway?"), I have to confess that I avoid sending him to the grocery store because...well, whatever he gets is usually wrong. So when I saw this reusable grocery bag from CMP fave Twisted Twee, I felt like it was made just for me. Or actually, just for my husband. Hand printed on washable cotton, "Whatever I get, it will be wrong" is absolutely right.

this is too funny! i'm so glad i'm not alone, my husband drives me crazy with what he gets (and doesnt get) at the store.
and from his side... he sent me to the store with this list last snow day:

Very funny.:-) That saying on the grocery bag is pretty hilarious; just perfect for my husband also.:-) I will certainly look into the link you provided and purchase one for myself. Thanks.:-)
This is awesome. I can send my husband to the store with a list, with ounces, brands and prices AND the sale ad with the pictures of the items... and he will come home with less than half the correct items. Now, I just do most of the shopping. He does the errand runs... like when we are out of bread or eggs. No more detailed lists.
I so agree, the detailed lists are a waste of my time for the exact reason printed on that bag that was made for my guy too. If he is trying to 'chip in' and 'be helpful' by going to the store I try my hardest to bite my toung and smile while I help unload the three boxes of Life cereal, the four bags of peanut butter pretzels and wasabi peas, and the organic bananas, as if the over priced organic bananas were going to even it all out. My response next time he offers to 'pitch in' by going shopping, "how about cleaning the toilets instead, that would be a HUGE help"!
