Tegu blocksSo you know how much we love Tegu blocks? Because, really, who doesn’t love beautiful, magnetic wood blocks responsibly made in Honduras by a company committed to social and
ecological betterment.

These things are so hot, they sell out. But even if you don’t have your own set (yet!), you can now enjoy the magic with Tegu Live, which is basically America’s Next Top Block Genius.

[don’t miss a super cool holiday-ready giveaway after the jump]

Starting this week, during certain hours of the day, you will find the Tegu Block Genius
(wouldn’t you love that on your business cards?) waiting with twitching hands to build whatever you can dream up.

Just submit it online via the Tegu site or Twitter or Facebook. Then every
creation becomes an archived video so that anyone at any time can learn
and build at their own speed.

Tegu Live!

I’ve
watched a couple of videos, and I’m totally won over by Tegu. It’s one
thing to see still pictures on a flashy website of gravity-defying,
90-degree angle masterpieces–and it’s easy to assume that glue and
hidden wires are involved, much like in The Matrix. But watching human
hands build American flags and castles and the Eiffel Tower for eager kids looking on live from their moms’ laptops? In the words of
Keanu Reeves, Whoa.

Consider me open to the magical and creative
possibilities that go beyond any instruction manual.

And might I add how relaxing it is to watch block towers that I don’t have to clean up or step on at midnight while barefoot? ~Delilah

Visit Tegu Live with your kids to see when the Block Genius will be at work or watch past videos. Today it starts at 1PM ET. Careful– as with all reality TV, it’s addictive!

Congratulations to Elizabeth W, Debra E, and Riann H – each won a Discover Set of Tegu blocks!
