Last summer, my three-year-old's black car seat was always too hot and she told me so in no uncertain terms ("Hot! Too hot!").The Meeno Babies car seat, stroller, or infant seat liner is one of those gear essentials that, one you've tried it, you are dying to tell every mom you know about. Basically the absorbent layers of poly-mesh allow air to flow between the liner and the seat, while soft fabric wicks away moisture from your baby. It's easy to install, and the universal designs fit most strollers and car seats.
This could possibly be the end of Sweaty Baby Back Syndrome as we know it. Find More: Strollers and Stroller-y Things, Travel essentials

I'm not sure if you're aware, but anything (other than regular, non-bulky clothing) that's placed between your child and the car seat's straps, will compress in a crash and cause dangerous slack (which can throw a child out of the straps during a crash). In addition, any aftermarket product that didn't come with your seat will void the manufacturer's warranty and they won't be liable if anything happens during a crash.
You can see an experiment a mom did just that to show how much slack the non-cut-out Bundle Me causes (and that slack is dangerous in a crash as your little one could be ejected from between the straps :( http://community.babycenter.com/post/a5724415/my_bundle_me_experiment_with_photos
Yikes, is all I can say. Though I do LOVE the idea of mesh stroller liners, about time too! :)
Thanks Nava, interesting thread. This is significantly thinner and more streamlined than a BundleMe and we feel confident recommending it. it also seems that the BundleMe issues were corrected when owners cut the holes themselves to line up more appropriately with the seat belt harness.
The warranty issue is one that every mom has to decide for herself; for what its worth, if you ever allow your child to have food or drink in the car seat, that voids the warranty as well. Lawyers do a very good job looking out for their car seat manufacturer clients!
I always opted for cotton fabric liners to be next to my baby's skin, especially in the summer. I think that mesh is just too irritating for baby's delicate skin.
