Organization solutions that balance pretty and practical

I'm in a bit of a storage kick these days, trying to get all of the toys and games and stuffed animals and books that are out in our apartment, into something. Anything. Aaaaanything at all.

Okay, maybe something pretty. Is that too much to ask for?

 

I think the storage boxes from Fiona Kate are so fabulous, I covet everything on the site and only wish the shipping to the US wasn't somewhat prohibitive. They're sturdy and handsome; just the right balance between practical storage and decor you can live with happily. I love choices like the monster box which is so big, it can double as a table right in the playroom or a kid's room. The colors are bright and cheery, plus all the organizers come with stick-on letters that are a step up from your average Sharpie-scribbled label.

I also adore the art folders, which can get you ready for all that school work about to come home each afternoon. Definitely cuter for the bookshelves than manila folders from office supply stores.
