I've learned that as my kids get older, they will have plenty of time to use their decked out backpacks with the 400 pockets and zippers. And I'll have lots of chances to clean them out. But for my little preschooler, I'm digging the new simple canvas backpacks from Blabla Kids. We're already smitten with their handknit backpacks, so it's nice to have a sturdier canvas option that's just as cute, but with a little more room for folders, snacks, and a sippy cup too. They even work for older kids, like my 6-year-old, who need a little bag to tote to ballet class or violin lessons that, most importantly, they can carry themselves. And thanks to the addition of Clochette (pictured) to our household, that's exactly what's happening. -Kristen

Blabla kids have so many cute and unique items! I like the knitted bags but you're right about the age-appropriateness, my 3-yr-old pointed to it when the page loaded but my 6-yr-old liked the canvas version.
It's really cute. and the art too.
