I dream of Orca
Cute little fishies for your baby's room? So done. Instead, try this very hip, non-cutesy, and eco-conscious mobile that looks as sweet and restful hanging over a crib as it does dangling over a jacuzzi tub. The little whale mobile by The Modern Baby Co. is laser-cut from birch and comes to you with minimal packaging and about an IKEA-level of assembly required. That means you have to thread the clear wire through three whales and figure out how to tie it up yourself, which isn't bad at all.
I love the natural, minimalistic approach in two-tone wood, and I really love the way they float and twirl with the slightest breeze. If I were pregnant now, I'd start planning a whale-themed nursery and dreaming of whalesong.~Delilah
