Icebox Bakery CookiesTo say I’m not a baker would be like saying childbirth is somewhat uncomfortable. But I also happen to be a major baked goods addict, which means lot and lots (and lots and lots) of store-bought cookies and cakes make their way into my house.

So needless to say when the opportunity to review Ice Box Bakery’s ready-to-bake cookie dough became available I practically dislocated my shoulder from raising my hand so quickly.

Ice Box Bakery cookie dough is as close as I’m ever going to get to making cookies from scratch. Given that the all the ingredients are natural, with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, I’m totally cool with that. The cookie dough comes packaged wrapped in parchment and all you need to do is slice and bake.

I made the Classic Sugar cookies, the Deluxe Chocolate Chip, and Double Dutch chocolate, three of the seven flavors which also includes a gluten-free option. My son and I both loved the Double Dutch chocolate cookies the best, but they were all really delicious and far superior to the big brands on the shelves.

Now all I have to do is get used to that chemical-free, wholesome natural ingredients taste. Unfortunately for my waistline, I’m up for the challenge.–Betsy
