It's hard to believe I had my son a decade ago. Back then, no matter what your personal style was, you were pretty much limited to duckies, boats or flowers when it came to baby bedding. But now companies like Olli and Lime are turning out chic and modern textile alternatives to satisfy even the biggest style snob. In fact their fabrics are so stylish and "un-babyish" that they're now also available for your kitchen.

These crib sets are adorable, but even the crib sheets are out of my price range. I have to wash the sheets so frequently, that the elastic wears out and I have to replace them (even the more expensive sheets). Just can't justify the price.
Wow Carrie, what a pain!
My own girls' sheets are from Javis-Davis and have survived 4.5 years and two kids and show no signs of wearing out.
Do any other readers experience this elastic problem?

We've had elastic issues on the cheaper crib sheets from Babies R Us but pretty good luck on the Carters or the slightly nicer ones from there or Target.
I second the Carter's sheets. They fit the mattresses better, making them easier to put on, and last forever.
Wow, Awesome post - Cool Mom Picks - From the changing table to your dining room table (not as gross as it sounds) was a great read. I'm such a newbie when it comes to all this, Thanks for this!
