Versatility - the hot trend for moms any season

As someone who used to have a reputation for keeping up with style trends, I have to admit that it pains me now, as a busy mom, to have to shop for everyday clothes with limitations - you know, can I wear it with almost all my outfits? Will it hide my post-partum belly rolls?

But sometimes you find pieces, like the reversible short sleeve open sweater from Smitten, that are stylish and versatile. Now while I don't own this particular one, I've got a few like it, and let me just say I wear it all the time. In fact, I rarely leave home without one. It's an edgy alternative to a cardigan, snazzing up a plain shirt and jeans in a snap. And as a side benefit for you breastfeeding mamas, it makes the best nursing cover.

The price isn't Target cheap, but neither is the construction. Plus since it's reversible you're getting two sweaters in one. And seeing as how I wear my cheaper versions almost every day, I'd just as soon spend extra on something that I know will take me way beyond spring. -Kristen

LOVE this! As a nursing mom, I'm always searching the stores and the web for great open sweaters that are light and stylish. I'm going to have to pick myself up one!
