Licensed character kids clothes we can get behind

I think the thing that bothers me the most about my kids begging for TV character clothes is that in a way, it makes them look like they watch a ton of television. Or really, like I let them watch a lot of television. Bring on the mommy guilt.

But book characters? Well that just makes it look like my two year-old can read.

Okay, maybe not. But you have to admit, the beloved characters from fave kid books like the Little Miss and Mr. Men series (pictured), Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar and even author Roald Dahl found at UK-based Fabric Flavours are a great way to indulge in some of the cutest characters around. Plus I figure that if my kid is going to be a walking billboard, I suppose I'd rather it be for a book than almost anything else. -Kristen
