Kids dress clothes that make you hope for a special occasion on the calendar

For girls I love the children's garden party dress in navy which feels more contemporary than smocking, but still childlike and amply twirly. If your boy doesn't need a full-on pinstripe linen trouser, check out the khaki linen dress pants with suspender that pairs adorably with either of the two children's dress shirts available this season.

Some of the clothes go up to size 5Y, some only up to 2T, but in either case, you're going to wish your kid stayed that age forever. Partly so they can keep wearing the clothes. -Liz
