With a lot of insanity in the world, it may feel weird to talk about organizing solutions right now. But that’s exactly the reason we’re talking about it. We have so little control in our own lives — in the world — and it’s disorienting and destabilizing. So it makes sense that so many of us are clearing off shelves, tossing old papers, color-coding our books, and uh, keeping the coffee mugs and coffee beans a little more accessible these days. (That would be Liz!)

We were so happy to talk to certified professional organizer Naeemah Ford Goldson, the owner of Restore Order Professional Organizing, and the President and one of the founding members of the National Association for Black Professional Organizers.

She’s sharing some terrific insights, helpful hints, and tips we’re already putting to use in our own homes  — including her own thoughts on the Marie Kondo method. Hmmm…

If you’re in full organization mode right now like we are — or want to be — you’ll find the inspiration here.

Our Cool Picks of the Week

WandaVision on Disney Plus : So fun to watch with the kids!Photo © Netflix, Marvel

Naeemah
just re-read Suzy Ormond’s Women & Money and says there’s so much valuable information here.

Kristen is a big fan of Justin Willman’s Magic for Humans… At Home virtual lessons and performances, including one coming up for Valentine’s Day. And not just because he was a fantastic Spawned guest, who taught us how to be “the fun mom.”

Liz is having the best time watching WandaVision on Disney Plus (above), which is great for the kids, especially if they’re Marvel fans. Even if they won’t get all the references to Bewitched, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Brady Bunch, or Full House.
