Fairy Tree House, actual size. Or so I'm told.

I do recognize that some girls on my list are all into fairies and tutus and princess tiaras, but I am still having trouble just giving in and buying some crappy marabou slippers or Cinderella wand. So I am so excited to have discovered the brand new Fairy Tree House which is a book, a playhouse, a craft kit, and an imagination builder all at once.

Open up the kit and you have access to Saviour Pirotta's charming little fairy handbook. Then turn it on its side and you've got a whole little 3-d fairy world to play with, dollhouse style. There are die-cut fairies and furniture to set up in the environment, along with an envelope full of paper punch-out projects like a mobile or a carousel.

It's meant for 9-12 year-olds but even younger kids will have a great time playing with this with your help. All for just under 20 bucks. Must be fairy magic. -Liz
