Cake + Milk + adorable aprons. What's not to love?

Designer Angeline Tsao's background is actually in fashion design which helps to explain her excellent taste. It also explains why, while poking around her shop cake + milk paperie and drooling over her handmade invitations and cards, I happened to stumble on some gorgeous little handmade smocks.

Handmade of cotton in sweet, irony-free calicos, polka dots or lemons, I can't think of a more adorable cover-up for helping mom (or in our case, dad) whip up something caloric.

While you're at the shop, don't miss the beautiful personalized note cards for kids. Maybe even buy both. That way your favorite tot not only gets a cool apron, she has an elegant way to thank you for it. -Liz
