I May Look Like a Geek, But a Geek Who Can Find His Keys

For the style-conscious SAHD, your options are pretty slim if you want to avoid lugging your wife's floral diaper tote around town. I couldn’t ever get stuff in and out of my messenger diaper bag, and last summer’s big vacation proved the rule that whatever you’re trying to find in your backpack—diaper, bib, camera, guidebook—will invariably be at the very bottom.

All of which led me to the Baby Bandolier.

Yeah, it looks a little like what would happen if an 80's-era fanny pack and Batman’s utility belt got drunk and hooked up at a party, but you know what?  I’ve worn mine almost every day since last Father’s Day, and I can find a packet of wipes or a sippy cup faster than any mom at playgroup. 

With its individual zippered pockets, I no longer have wallet-worn holes in my jeans. More importantly, both my keys and my babygirl’s binky are literally right under my nose.
